Verizon to Start Selling the iPhone 5 for $99?

Twitter user evleaks, who is known to have sources on rumored Android devices and upcoming carrier deals, has just posted something saying that Verizon will start selling the iPhone 5 for $99. They also say that the offer will start in the middle of this month. It seems that Verizon is trying to compete with T-Mobile and their no-contract plan. While T-Mobile is giving the iPhone 5 for $99 with their “Uncarrier” plan, you end up having to pay full price for the phone (the extra cost if fixed into your monthly fee). If you do this on Verizon you get the phone for $99, but you are stuck in a 2-year contract. The good part of it is that you don’t have to pay the full price for the phone. It’s not fixed into your monthly fee or anything.
