T-Mobile Announces New Contract-free Plan

As expected, T-Mobile has released a new plan that eliminates the two-year contracts. This is a great new way to get people who keep getting new phones all the time to go to your service. They are calling it the “Uncarrier”. The base price is $50 per month with 500MB of data, unlimited voice minutes, and unlimited texts. You can add the unlimited data to your plan for an extra $20 per month.
To me this seems like a very good idea, especially for people like me who get a new phone every year. While the plan is good, the lack of LTE coverage might be a downfall for some people.
