T-Mobile Announces Free Canada and Mexico Talk, Text, LTE Coverage

T-Mobile has announced yet another revolutionary feature that comes free with their service. As part of “Un-carrier” 2.0, they are now giving you free unlimited talk, text, and 4G LTE data in Canada and Mexico. They’re calling it “Mobile Without Borders”. Before, T-Mobile offered free unlimited texting and data international, however the data speeds were capped and you had to pay for phone calls. Now, if you traveling to Mexico or Canada you have free unlimited calls and LTE data, with no speed caps. Their Music Unlimited service also works in those countries.
This is available to those who are on T-Mobile’s Simple Choice plan. It’s completely free and will be available starting July 15. Unlike other services, you do have to opt-in online, which can be done when it comes out. Those who sign up after next Wednesday will automatically be enrolled. You can learn more about it here.
