Siri Stores Your Data For 2 Years
Apple has just confirmed in a statement to Wired that Siri stores you data (which we will explain in a little bit) for 2 years. In the statement Apple was very vague with what they do, but we do know that they erase all of Siri’s stored data after 2 years. That means that everything will be erased on the second anniversary of Siri and the iPhone 4S.
Some people are concerned about their privacy, but an Apple spokesperson said that your data (mainly your speech so Siri can adapt to the way you talk) is sent to Apple’s “data farm” and then stored. Every voice file is assigned a number and that’s it. All they keep is the voice file, not your Apple ID or any passwords.
