New Predictions for the MacBooks at WWDC 2013
In a report this morning, Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities said that Apple will release a slimmer 13” MacBook Pro with Retina display this June at the 2013 WWDC. They say this will be done to increase portability. Also, Kuo says that Apple will switch over to Intel’s Haswell processor, which will not need as much battery power to run so you could get a smaller battery or longer battery life. If Apple decides to keep the battery the same size, you could get up to 10 hours of use. If they make the battery smaller you would get the same battery life, but in a smaller and thinner MacBook. On top of the slimmer design, Kuo says that new MacBook Pros will have an improved 1080p HD FaceTime camera.
Kuo’s predictions for the MacBook Air are somewhat simple. He says Apple will add a second microphone to the MacBook Air for better sound quality. Apple introduced dual mics back with the MacBook Pro and it received positive feedback.
