Microsoft Office for iPad to Come on March 27

According to a report from The Verge, Microsoft will launch their much anticipated Office suite for iOS on March 27. If you’re not familiar with Office, it’s a bundle of work apps, much like Apple’s own iWork software. It includes things like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and more. While Office is currently available for OS X and Windows only, many users who work on their iPads want that same software for iOS.

Ever since Apple announced that they were now going to offer Pages, Numbers, and Keynote for free with the purchase of a device, Microsoft lost much business.

We are expecting Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to come to iOS. If you want this we can confidently tell you that it won’t come without a steep price. Right now Office for Mac sells for a little over $200, so we can expect it to cost over $100 on iOS.
