Microsoft Announces Office for iPad

Staying true with previous rumors, Microsoft today announced Office for iPad. The work suite offers Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. All three apps will go on sale today at 11 A.M PST. While they will be free, an Office 365 subscription is needed. There is no other way to get Office without having a 365 subscription, which costs about $10 a month.
No other Office apps are going to be available. Just those three. It’s also going to be available for iPad only. When it comes out later today we will be sure and update this article with the links to everything.
