Media Event Recap: iPhone 6 Plus
Alongside the smaller iPhone 6, Apple has also announced a larger, 5.5-inch iPhone 6, called the iPhone 6 Plus. This features a 5.5-inch, 1920 x 1080 display with 401 ppi. Unlike the smaller one, the price of this new iPhone is $100 more, coming in at $749 for the unlocked 16 GB model. The price increases by $100, going up to 128 GB, but skipping the 32 GB model. The price for the phone in a carrier store will also be $100 more, at $299 for the base model.
This larger iPhone is still available in Space Gray, Silver, and Gold. However, there is a new option for storage capacity. You can either pick from 16 GB, 64 GB, or 128 GB.
This larger screen is packed inside of a body that comes in at 6.22 inches tall, 3.06 inches wide, .28 inches thick, and only weights 6.07 ounces. This also has the A8 processor and M8 motion co-processor. You can pick the iPhone 6 Plus in-store on the 19th, or pre-order it on the 12th.
