Full Dev Center is Restored
Really early this morning Apple has finally got the whole Developer Center back up and running. The site was first closed on July 18th due to a hack. It’s taken Apple over three weeks to get all of the services back. They began a few weeks ago providing status of what services were up and what were not.
To say they are sorry for the downtime, Apple is extending all developers’ memberships for another month for free. This email was sent to developers to let them know that the full Dev Center is back.
“We are pleased to let you know that all our developer program services are now online. Your patience during this time was sincerely appreciated.
We understand that the downtime was significant and apologize for any issues it may have caused in your app development. To help offset this disruption, we are extending the membership of all developer teams by one month. If you need any further assistance, please contact us.”
There are still some problems with the site. For example, when you register for the Safari program and use a current developer account it says that the http was not found.
