Apple Stops In-Store Pickup for the iPhone 5s

Yesterday, Apple began Personal Pickup, a service where you request an iPhone and then go to your closest retail store to pick it up. Now, only a day after the service started Apple has pulled it for the iPhone 5s. You can still do this for the iPhone 5c, but not the 5s. Right now it is unclear why they did this. Probably because stock is very limited for the 5s. Now, to get an iPhone 5s directly from Apple you will need to order it online (which ships in October) or go to a retail store.
