Apple Starts Celebrating 5 Years of the App Store

Tim Bradshaw, a tech reporter for Financial Times, has received the above poster from Apple. The poster is featuring a time line of the App Store since its launch in July 10 2008. It shows when different devices were released, when they reached a certain amount of app downloads, and when very popular apps were launched. If you haven’t realized why Apple is sending these posters out to reporters yet, it’s because of the fifth anniversary of the App Store, which coming up in seven days.
