Apple Seeds OS X El Capitan Beta 3

07/08/2015 12:35

Apple has just seeded the third beta of OS X El Capitan to developers. This comes two weeks after the second seed to developers. Unlike the third beta of iOS 9, there aren’t many new features. There’s just mainly bug fixes and improvements. We do see a few new things. These come from the latest beta of iOS 9, with new folders in the Photos app called Selfies and Screenshots. These are where your images that fit those categories will live. We also see better two-factor authentication support system-wide.

Developers can update to beta 3 in the Mac App Store > Updates > Software updates > OS X El Capitan beta 3. If you don’t have it yet you can download it for the first time from the Mac Developer Center.
