Apple Seeds iOS 7.1 Beta 4 to Developers

01/20/2014 10:21

Surprisingly, Apple has just seeded iOS 7 beta 4 to developers. Just a little while ago we reported that they might seed it tomorrow, but instead it came today. This release comes a little over a week after the third one. Since this version is so new we don’t know what has been added in this beta. However, we will keep updating this article with the latest findings.

iOS 7.1 includes many new features, such as new keyboard button designs, darker green icons, new slide to power off slider, and much more. We aren’t sure when this version will come to the public.

Developers can update to beta 4 now by going to Settings > General > Software Update > iOS 7.1 beta 4. If you don’t have iOS 7.1 yet you can download it for the first time in the iOS Developer Center.

Update:

It appears that the Slide to Unlock text looks a little shinier.

When adding a contact from a phone number in the dialer there is a new icon to do so.

There is a new bounce effect when scrolling though your messages.

There is a new male voice for Siri in the U.K.
