Apple Seeds First Beta of OS X 10.10.3

Apple has today seeded the first beta of OS X 10.10.3 to developers. One thing that Apple talked about during WWDC that just disappeared a few weeks ago was the Photos apps. It’s supposed to be just like the Photos app on your phone. It’s similar to iPhoto, but has a simpler UI and is meant for browsing through photos, not editing them. With that said, Apple has now added the app into the beta of 10.10.3. Considering the app went away without a trace not too long ago, it’s strange that Apple has added it to this beta.

The Verge has made a video walkthrough on the app. They talk about some of the features and what you can do with it. That video can be found above.

Other than the Photos app, Apple has also added a few minor improvements to OS X. To celebrate the first beta of the app, Apple has created a preview page of the Photos app for Mac. You can view that page here.
