Apple Releases OS X 10.9.3
Finally, after several months and 10 seeds to developers, OS X 10.9.3 is now available to the public. The main update present is added support for 4K display connected to the MacBook Pro with Retina Display. Once the display is connected there will be an option for "Retina support". The only problem with this, however, is that this does not support full 4K resolution, but it's as close as you can get on a non supported Mac. There are a few minor updates as well.
The OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 Update is recommended for all Mavericks users. It improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac.
- Improves 4K display support on Mac Pro (Late 2013) and MacBook Pro with 15-inch Retina Display (Late 2013)
- Adds the ability to sync contacts and calendars between a Mac and iOS device using a USB connection
- Improves the reliability of VPN connections using IPsec
- Includes Safari 7.0.3
Users can update to 10.9.3 in the Mac App Store > Updates > Software Updates > OS X 10.9.3.
