Apple Releases OS X 10.10.3

04/08/2015 14:49

Apple has today released OS X 10.10.3. This follows the rumor that they would release it earlier this morning. 10.10.3 comes three months after the release of 10.10.2. This new version of Yosemite includes the new Photos app. This is much like the Photos app for iOS. It connects to your iCloud Photo Library and allows you to view and edit images right from your Mac. This version also includes a new special character page layout, now called Characters. It also includes skin colors for face emoji figures. Finally, you can sign in with Google two-step verification. This allows you to use a 6-digit code rather than an app specific password.

OS X 10.10.3 is available as a free update to those on OS X Yosemite. You can update in the Mac App Store > Updates > Software updates > OS X 10.10.3.
