Apple Releases Diversity Data
Following the announcement from Tim Cook last month, Apple has just released their diversity data statement. This report shows gender and ethnicity of Apple’s employees. As of their first report, 55% of their employees are white and 7 out of 10 are male. 15% are Asian, 11% Hispanic, 7% Black, and 2% who identify themselves are more than one ethnicity. The remaining 9% choose not to say. On their diversity data page it says that they put “diversity at the very center” and seek “a diversity of thought and perspective”.
