Apple Patent Shows Reversible USB Cable

Over the week there have been many leaks and rumors of a reversible USB connector. Now, a patent by Apple shows just how the cable would work. Since USB can currently go in on way Apple had to come up with something that would allow the connector in the middle to move around so it would fit in the port. According to the patent, there is a flexible connector holding the tongue inside of the cable. When the cable is inserted into a port, the flexible connector will bend so it fits in, making this a reversible cable.
We’re expecting this cable to come with the iPhone 6 and all other devices announced at the media event next month.
