Apple New Year's bug

Apple is off to a bad start of the year. Around midnight on New Year's Eve the popular feature “Do Not Disturb” is not turning off. Now this means that you won’t get phone calls, texts, or reminders. Apple says that the problem will automatically fix itself after January 7th. If you want to fix this problem yourself here is what has been reported to do:
1. Disable the feature (turn it off)
2. Re-enable it (turn it on)
3. And then turn it back off
