Apple Expands Two-Step Verification to 48 New Countries
Apple has expanded their two-step verification to 48 new countries today. This makes a total of 59 supported countries. It’s been over a year since Apple last expanded their verification service. A few of the countries include China, France, India, Japan, Korea, South Africa, Thailand, Switzerland, and more across Asia, South America, and Europe.
The way this works is when you sign in with your Apple ID you will also need a code that is sent to you to be able to access your account, much like what Microsoft and Google are doing with their services. You can learn more about two-step verification here.
