Apple Discontinues MagSafe 1 to 2 Adapter

Announced when Apple released the MagSafe 2 charger, this adapter allowed you to convert your older MacBook charger to be able to charge newer Macs. It was listed for $10 and came with the Thunderbolt Display free. However, Apple has now discontinued it. On their online store, there is a note that it is discontinued, but is still available for purchase with free shipping. Our guess is that they will keep selling it until stock is out. Right now there is no word from Apple on why they stopped selling the adapter.
