Apple to Finally Allow Third-Party Apple TV Apps

Apple is finally going to allow developers to make apps for the Apple TV, according to 9to5Mac. An SDK should be announced at WWDC this June and developers can start making apps right away. This will all be done through Xcode, using an SDK which might be called "TVKit".
Developers will be able to make a wide variety of apps, including news, games, and more. However, users will be limited to the remote that comes with the Apple TV, posing a challenge when making apps.
