Apple Seeds First Beta of iOS 8.3

02/09/2015 15:00

Apple has today seeded the first beta of iOS 8.3 to developers. This version comes a week after the last seed of iOS 8.2. Apple has not even released iOS 8.2 yet and we’re seeing the seed of another version of iOS.

This version includes the “beta” tag removal from iCloud Photo Library, hinting that it is coming out of beta. It also includes some new CarPlay wireless features. Like the last seed of OS X 10.10.3, iOS 8.3 also includes a new layout for emoji. It also supports the use of 2-step verification when logging in to a Google account. This means that you don’t have to use an app specific password any more.

Developers can update to iOS 8.3 by downloading the ISO from the iOS developers homepage.
