    Apple Confirms ‘Applebot’ Web Crawler

Apple has confirmed to Apple Insider that they are creating a web crawler, called “Applebot”. This web crawler will be used to get information from sites for use within Siri and Spotlight. Right now Apple uses Google and Yahoo to get info from sites. However, this will make it so they get the information quicker and more of what they want.

Apple goes on outlining that if the site does not support Applebot yet, the robot will follow the rules made for Googlebot. This will make it so the Applebot will still be able to access everything even if not all sites support it yet.

Following today’s launch of the Apple Watch, Apple has now shared three new ads for the watch. They are called Us, Up, and Rise. All of them can be watched above.

Us is about people using the friends feature with the watch to share heart beats and drawings. It features people interacting from long distance or just across the room.

Up features the activity monitor within the watch. It has a feature that tells you when it’s time to get up. In the ad, people get that notification and do something active.

Finally, in the Rise ad people use the Apple Watch in the morning. It goes through things such as using it as an alarm, answering calls, and even turning on your store’s lights.
